Chapter 1
Introduction
The PANPHONE GSM 4G/LTE is a hands-free communicator to make calls through the mobile network, control up to two relays, detect an external alarm and, in the model with keypad, manage access via password.
1.1 Models and features
One button version
Makes sequential calls to up to nine destinations saved as ABUTTON1 to ABUTTON9.
Keypad version
Allows you to call PHONE destinations and use up to eight alternative numbers per destination when there is no answer.
Independent relays
Two configurable relays can be activated by SMS, missed call, code during a conversation or keystroke.
Access control
The keypad model supports up to nine four-digit numeric passwords.
Whitelist
You can accept calls from any number or limit calls to contacts WHITE1 to WHITE9.
Alarm and notifications
An external input can generate an SMS notification to the administrator contact.
Audio
Full-duplex communication with echo cancellation and noise reduction.
Prerecorded audios
Messages available in Spanish, English, Catalan and Portuguese, depending on configuration.
1.2 CSBOX Formats
The equipment is also available in CSBOX format (plastic or metal box) for installations that do not require the usual front panel. The dimensions of the case are 125 x 93 x 52 (or 42) mm.
| Model | Description |
|---|---|
| CSBOX-GSM 4G/LTE | GSM 4G/LTE Intercom PCB assembly with Gray plastic case. Speaker output power up to 1 W. (*) |
Chapter 2
Installation, connection and antenna
Install the equipment according to the model purchased: Series C, Series 4 surface-mounted or Series 4 recessed. Fix the support with the appropriate anchors and wire the device while it is disconnected from the power supply.
2.1 Board components
The board incorporates connectors for the relays, power, alarm, SMA antenna, nano-SIM card, push button, LED, microphone and speaker. The relays have jumpers to select normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC).
2.2 Power and alarm
| Terminal | Function |
|---|---|
| Pin 1 | +12 Vdc. |
| Pin 2 | GND or negative. |
| Pin 3 | GND of the alarm signal. |
| Pin 4 | External alarm signal. |
The alarm is activated by closing a normally open contact between P3 and P4.
2.3 Relays
Relays are voltage-free contacts: they do not supply current to the connected wiring. In the NO position, the contacts join during activation; in NC position, they separate during activation.
2.4 Antenna location
Connect the supplied antenna to the SMA connector and place it in a high place without obstacles. Keep a distance greater than 50 cm between the antenna and the electronic board. The signal quality can be consulted via SMS and takes values from 0 to 31; 31 represents the maximum level.
2.5 Power
Use the supplied power supply. Any replacement must provide 12 V DC and at least 2 A. An unsuitable supply may damage the board.
Chapter 3
Programming
The configuration is divided into the initial programming of the SIM card and the subsequent sending of SMS commands. Preparing the SIM can make your device ready for a standard configuration.
Before we start. Deactivate the SIM PIN code and disable the answering machine on both the destination phones and the SIM installed in the intercom.
3.1 SIM preprogramming
- Insert the SIM into a mobile phone.
- Disable the PIN code.
- Save contacts to the SIM card memory, not just to the phone.
One button version
Create ABUTTON1 to ABUTTON9. The device calls the destinations in order until one answers.
Keypad version
Create contacts with the format PHONEXXX.Z, where XXX ranges from 001 to 999 and Z identifies the alternative destination, from 1 to 9. The SIM supports up to 250 contacts.
Example for destination 150: PHONE150.1, PHONE150.2 and PHONE150.3. For reception or concierge you can use PHONE000.1, PHONE000.2, etc.
Passwords
For access control, create PASSWORD1 to PASSWORD9 with four-digit numeric passwords.
Optional contacts
WHITE1 to WHITE9 form the incoming call whitelist. ADMIN1 to ADMIN9 identify the numbers authorized to send SMS commands and receive notifications.
3.2 Configuration via SMS
- Insert the programmed SIM into the device.
- Power on the device using the 12 V DC supply.
- Wait for the start-up acoustic warnings and the equipment ready announcement, after approximately 1.5 minutes.
- Send SMS commands from an authorized ADMIN number.
Configuration messages must begin with W, use capital letters and contain a single space between each character or digit. Example: W A 5.
If the command is correct, the device confirms receipt and restarts. If it contains an error, it does not issue confirmation.
3.3 Remote contact management
To manage contacts by SMS, use the prefix WWW. To write or modify: WWW W "ABUTTON1" "600000000". To read: WWW R "ABUTTON1". To remove: WWW D "ABUTTON1".

Chapter 4
Operation
4.1 Outgoing call
In the one-button version, the device calls ABUTTON1 and continues to the next destinations if there is no response. In the keypad version, dial the destination and press CALL. To call the reception desk, press CALL with the PHONE000 contacts configured. The CANCEL key cancels or restarts dialing.
4.2 Incoming call
The F parameter allows accepting all calls or only those from the WHITE list. The T parameter allows you to block calls, automatically answer after a number of rings or activate relay 1 for 3 seconds in case of a missed call.
4.3 Relay activation
The relays can be activated by SMS, by DTMF during a conversation, by missed call or by CALL depending on the parameter U. By DTMF, digit 8 activates relay 1 and digit 5 activates relay 2 for 3 seconds. Keep the key pressed for at least 1 second.
| Action | Command | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Relay 1 via SMS | W R 1 1 / 2 / 3 | Activates, deactivates or activates for 3 seconds. |
| Relay 2 via SMS | W R 2 1 / 2 / 3 | Turns on, off, or on for 3 seconds. |
| Relay 1 by DTMF | 8 | Temporary activation. |
| Relay 2 by DTMF | 5 | Temporary activation. |
4.4 Alarm
The alarm input is activated by closing the normally open external contact. With Z=1 an SMS notification is sent to the administrator. After an event, another event is not sent until the contact is opened and closed again; Additionally, there is a 30-second interval between events. During a call, the alarm is disabled.
4.5 Entry status
Send W C from an ADMIN number to receive the stored variables. The variable I indicates the state of the input: I=1 means alarm activated; I=0, alarm not activated.
4.6 Audio and voice prompts
Use A for voice prompt volume, CRXV for speaker volume during conversation, and CTXV for microphone volume. The values range from 1 to 5. With B=0 the announcements are deactivated and the status is indicated by tones.
4.7 Duration and signaling
D sets the maximum conversation duration, between 10 seconds and 60 minutes. K sets the maximum call establishment time: 15, 25 or 60 seconds.
4.8 Password opening
On the keypad model, enter the four-digit password PASSWORD and press CALL. CANCEL cancels or restarts dialing.
Chapter 5
LED and acoustic signals
| Indicator | Interpretation |
|---|---|
| Blue LED | Stays on during a call and flashes briefly during startup. |
| Yellow LED | Indicates the status of the mobile connection. If it remains fixed, check SIM, antenna and coverage. |
| Startup beep | Individual beeps sound until the device is ready; if voice prompts are disabled, three short beeps sound. |
| Successful SMS | You hear confirmation of receipt or three beeps, followed by a restart. |
| Call | The button produces a long beep and the call announcement. |
| DTMF | You hear the tone and, if applicable, the open door announcement. |
